1. About these terms
These terms are a contract between you and Internova Technologies Limited, 431 Woodcrest Dr SE, Washington, DC 20032, USA, which owns the Roam Caller brand ("Roam Caller", "we", "us"). They apply when you visit our website or buy, install, top up or use a Roam Caller eSIM. By buying an eSIM you accept them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.
Eligibility. You must be 18 or over and able to enter a binding contract. A parent or guardian may buy an eSIM for a child and is responsible for how it is used.
Accounts. If we offer customer accounts, you must give accurate details and keep your login secure. You are responsible for purchases made through your account.
Your rights as a consumer. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer protection law of the country you live in, such as Nigeria's Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018, Kenya's Consumer Protection Act 2012 or South Africa's Consumer Protection Act 2008. Where these terms conflict with those laws, the law wins.
2. The service
A Roam Caller eSIM is a digital SIM profile that gives your phone mobile data in the countries its plan covers. Each plan states its coverage, data allowance and validity before you buy.
- Data only. Unless a plan says otherwise, eSIMs include no phone number, voice calls or SMS. Internet calls and messages (for example WhatsApp) use your data allowance. Keep your home SIM switched on if you need calls, texts or bank OTPs.
- Partner networks. Your eSIM connects through mobile networks in each destination, arranged through our eSIM supplier. We do not run those networks.
- Coverage and speed. Speeds (3G, 4G or 5G) and coverage depend on the local network, your location, your phone and how busy the network is. We don't guarantee a speed or coverage everywhere, especially indoors, underground, at sea, in the air or in remote areas.
- Network management. Local networks may slow certain traffic or block services that are illegal in their country. Some services may be restricted in some destinations.
- Hotspot. You may share your data with your own devices unless a plan says otherwise.
3. Your phone must be compatible
Before you buy, check that your phone:
- supports eSIM. Dial *#06#: if you see an EID number, it does. The list below covers common models.
- is carrier-unlocked, meaning not locked to one network.
- runs a recent operating system.
You are responsible for checking compatibility. We can't refund an eSIM bought for a phone that doesn't support eSIM or is locked to a network, unless the eSIM has not been installed (see section 7).
Phones that support eSIM
Support depends on the exact model and the country or carrier it was bought from, so always confirm with *#06#. Last checked November 2026.
| Brand | Models that support eSIM | Exceptions |

4. Prices, payment and taxes
- Prices are shown in the currency you choose (for example NGN, GHS, KES, XOF, XAF, EGP, MAD, TND, ZAR, UGX or USD) and include any taxes we must charge, such as VAT. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout.
- Pay by the methods shown at checkout, which may include cards, bank transfer and mobile money. Our payment providers, Stripe and Flutterwave, process payments. Your bank or wallet provider may add its own fees or exchange-rate charges.
- Prices can change, but a change never affects an order you have already paid for.
- If we list a price by obvious mistake, we may cancel the order and refund you in full before the eSIM is delivered.
- If you start a chargeback while a refund request with us is still open, we may suspend the eSIM while it is resolved.
5. Delivery, installation, validity and top-ups
Delivery. We send your eSIM's QR code and install details by email, usually within minutes of payment. If it hasn't arrived within 24 hours, contact us.
Installation.
- Most eSIMs can be installed only once. If you delete the eSIM from your phone, it usually can't be reinstalled and the remaining data is lost.
- Install over Wi-Fi, ideally before you travel. Keep the QR code private: anyone who scans it first can install your eSIM.
- On arrival, switch on the Roam Caller line and turn on data roaming for that line only.
Validity. Unless a plan says otherwise, the validity period starts when the eSIM first connects to a supported network in a destination it covers, not when you buy it. A plan ends when its validity period ends or its data runs out, whichever comes first. Unused data does not carry over and has no cash value. An eSIM that is never installed may expire after the period shown with its plan.
Top-ups. You can add data to a compatible eSIM before or after it runs out, while the eSIM is still on your phone. Each top-up has its own data and validity, shown before you buy.
6. Fair and acceptable use
Your eSIM is for your personal travel use, or your organisation's use if your employer bought it. You must not:
- break the law of any country where you buy or use the eSIM
- send spam, commit fraud, or spread malware
- resell, rent or transfer eSIMs as a business without a written agreement with us
- use the eSIM in SIM boxes, gateways or other equipment that routes traffic in bulk
- use it to get around a network's security or another person's systems
- run activity that harms a network or other users, such as continuous bulk data transfer from a server
Plans sold as "unlimited" have a fair-use limit, shown with the plan. Past it, speeds may be reduced. If you break this section, we may suspend or end your eSIM without refund and report illegal activity to the authorities.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Ask for a refund at support@roamcaller.com with your order number. We refund to the original payment method within 14 days of approving the request.
| Situation | What you get |
|---|---|
| eSIM not installed, request within 30 days of purchase | Full refund |
| eSIM doesn't work because of a fault on our side or our supplier's, and we can't fix it | Replacement or full refund; a partial refund for the unused part if you used some data |
| eSIM never delivered | Full refund |
| Charged twice, or charged the wrong amount | The difference back |
| Phone not compatible or locked to a network, eSIM already installed | No refund |
| eSIM deleted from your phone, or QR code shared or lost | No refund; we'll help where our supplier allows a reissue |
| Weak coverage in a remote area, or a local network outage outside our control | No refund, though we may offer goodwill credit |
| Data or validity used up, or plan expired | No refund |
| eSIM suspended for breaking section 6 | No refund |
Cooling-off periods. Some laws give consumers a period to cancel online purchases, such as 7 days under South Africa's Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, or 14 days in the EU and UK. At checkout you ask us to deliver the eSIM immediately. Where your law allows, the cooling-off right then ends once the eSIM is installed or used. Until then, the 30-day full refund above applies.
8. Business partners and their customers
Banks, fintech apps, airlines, insurers, travel and tourism agencies and other businesses can offer Roam Caller eSIMs to their own customers under a separate written partner agreement. That agreement governs the business relationship: pricing, payment, API use and support.
If you got your eSIM through a partner:
- the partner sold it to you and handles payment, refunds and first-line support, unless it tells you otherwise
- sections 2, 3, 5 and 6 of these terms still apply to how the eSIM works and how you may use it
- the partner's own terms apply to everything else it provides
9. Liability, suspension and other legal terms
Our liability. We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Mobile networks abroad are run by third parties, so we can't promise uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for:
- indirect or consequential losses, such as missed flights, lost business or lost data
- losses caused by local networks, your phone, or your use of the eSIM against these terms
Otherwise, our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid for the eSIM and top-ups concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow us to limit.
Suspension. We may suspend or end an eSIM if:
- you break these terms
- we suspect fraud or a security risk
- a regulator, court or network requires it
We will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
Changes to the service. We may change plans, coverage or features. A change will never reduce an active plan you have already paid for, unless a network or the law forces it; if it does, we'll offer a fair alternative or a pro-rata refund.
Intellectual property. The Roam Caller name, logo, website and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only to use our service.
Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These include network outages, natural disasters, war, government action, power failures and internet shutdowns.
10. Governing law, disputes, changes and contact
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, USA. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in.
Resolving disputes. Most problems are solved fastest by talking to us, so we ask you to follow these steps:
- Contact support. Email support@roamcaller.com with your order number and what went wrong. We reply within 2 working days and aim to fix it within 14 days.
- Escalate. If you're not happy with our answer, ask us to escalate your complaint. A senior team member reviews it and sends you a final written answer within 30 days of your first contact.
- Mediation. If that doesn't settle it, either of us may propose mediation by an independent mediator, online where possible. For consumer claims we pay the mediator's fees. Mediation is voluntary and doesn't stop you going to court.
- Courts and regulators. You may bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live or in the courts of the District of Columbia. You can also complain at any time to your national consumer protection body, such as Nigeria's Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, the Competition Authority of Kenya or South Africa's National Consumer Commission.
We never require consumers to use binding arbitration. Business customers resolve disputes as set out in their partner agreement.
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms and will post the new version here with its effective date. Changes don't affect orders already placed. If a change matters to you, we will tell you before it takes effect.
Language. If we publish these terms in French or Arabic as well as English, the version in your language applies where your law requires it; otherwise the English version applies.
Other. If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
